Indians prepare for fastbreaking festival Eid al-Fitr
Fruit vendors sell bananas ahead of the Muslim festival Eid al-Fitr in Kolkata, eastern India, 04 June 2019. The festival of Eid al-Fitr, which will fall on either 14 or 15 June depending on the sighting of the crescent, marks the end of Muslim holy month of Ramadan in which believers fast from dawn to dusk. Eid al-Fitr is one of the two major holidays in Islam. It is customary to buy new clothing items to celebrate Eid. EPA/PIYAL ADHIKARY
